大赛简介

Competition Overview

“巴渝地名大会”原名“重庆地名大会”，自2021年起已成功举办五届。2025年，大会正式更名为“巴渝地名大会”，以跳出城市范畴，进一步挖掘地名背后的历史底蕴与人文内涵。

第二届“巴渝地名大会”现已正式启动。本次大会以“留学重庆·感知巴渝”为核心主题，面向在渝大中小学外籍师生群体，打造一场“可看、可听、可品、可传”的文化体验盛宴。大赛旨在通过“学、游、赛、传”一体化设计，带领选手深入涪陵、丰都、忠县、奉节、酉阳、彭水六大区县，体验非遗、打卡地标，在感知中建立情感联结，从“文化体验者”成长为“巴渝地名故事的国际讲述者”，让镌刻着乡愁记忆的地名文化焕发出历久弥新的生命力。

The Bayu Place Name Competition, originally known as the Chongqing Place Name Competition, has been successfully held for five editions since 2021. In 2025, it was officially renamed the “Bayu Place Name Competition” to move beyond the municipal scope and further explore the historical depth and cultural connotations embedded in the place names.

The second Bayu Place Name Competition is now officially launched. Under the theme “Study in Chongqing · Experience Bayu”, the event is tailored for international teachers and students from primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions in Chongqing, creating a cultural experience that is “visible, audible, tangible, and shareable”. Through an integrated design of “learning, touring, competing, and sharing”, the competition will take participants to six districts and counties—Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Fengjie, Youyang, and Pengshui—where they can engage with intangible cultural heritage and visit iconic landmarks. Through these immersive experiences, participants will build emotional connections with the local culture, transforming from cultural experiencers into international storytellers of Bayu place name stories, and breathing lasting vitality into place name culture steeped in nostalgia.

Competition Format Preview

本次大会面向在渝大中小学外籍师生，分设小学组、中学组、大学生组、教师组四个组别，四个组别采用完全统一的四级赛制：报名 → 初赛（线上答题） → 复赛（实地采风视频创作） → 决赛（现场答题）。

This competition is open to teachers from abroad and students from primary schools, secondary schools, and universities in Chongqing. It is divided into four categories: Primary School Group, Secondary School Group, University Group, and Faculty Group. All four groups follow an identical four-stage competition system: Registration → Preliminary Contest (online quiz) → Semi-final (on-site field study video creation) → Final (on-site quiz).

Online Preliminaries

初赛采用线上答题的形式，题型均为客观题。选手根据初赛排名进入复赛，另设鼓励奖100名，各奖励精美奖品一份。

The preliminary round adopts an online answering format, with all questions being objective. Contestants will advance to the semifinals based on their rankings in the preliminary round. Additionally, there will be 100 Encouragement Awards, each accompanied by an exquisite prize.

Outdoor Semi-Final

复赛所有组别的晋级选手均须参与“行走重庆·地名影像创作赛”，深入六大区县（涪陵、丰都、忠县、奉节、酉阳、彭水）进行采风，围绕“地名+文旅/非遗/美食”主题，原创1-3分钟双语短视频。此外，所有参赛作品将择优推荐参加“‘我在重庆’留学生短视频大赛”。

All contestants advancing to the semifinals, regardless of their group, must take part in the "Walking Chongqing: Place Name-Inspired Video Creation Contest." During the contest, they will visit six districts and counties (Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Fengjie, Youyang, Pengshui) to gather inspiration, and each contestant is required to produce an original 1–3 minute bilingual short video centered on the theme of "place names + cultural tourism / intangible cultural heritage / food." In addition, all eligible entries will be recommended for selection in the "I'm in Chongqing" International Student Short Video Competition.

决赛线下

Live Final

决赛采用“第一轮题板竞答（24进12）→第二轮抢答赛（12进6）→第三轮主题讲解（一二等奖争夺）”的三轮赛制。

The final competition adopts a three-round format: Round One – Tablet Quiz (24 contestants advance to 12); Round Two – Quick-Response Buzzer Round (12 contestants advance to 6); Round Three – Themed Presentation (competition for first and second prizes).

（二）巴渝图鉴：以九宫格形式随机展示图片，局部到整体，选手进行抢答，说出图片中的地名。

Quick-Response Round: Guess the Picture

In each round, contestants see a hidden landmark image on a large screen. Parts of the picture are gradually revealed, from partial details to the full view. Contestants are expected to race to answer and say the place names shown in the images.

（三）选手抽签选取重庆地铁1/2/9号线的站点进行创作，讲解地名文化，评委现场打分

The contestants will draw lots to select stations on the Chongqing Metro Line 1, Line 2 and Line 9 for their creations. They will explain the cultural significance of the place names. The judges will give their scores on the spot.

示例：磁器口古镇始建于北宋，原名白岩镇。清初，瓷器成为镇上主要产业，远销各地，此地逐渐被称为“瓷器口”。后因“瓷”“磁”谐音相通，习称“磁器口”。
